The World Is Not Ending On December 21st, NASA Says So

I still cannot believe how many people truly believe the world is going to end in just about a week. If they really believe something is going to happen why are they not going out and spending all their money, and doing once in a lifetime things? Probably because they too doubt anything is actually going to happen. If you still don't believe me, that nothing is going to happen meet my friends at NASA, they are smart. 

According to the NASA website, the only thing that will happen on December 21st is the winter solstice. The website also compares the lack of dates on the Mayan calendar to the lack of dates on current calendars.

Of course, those screaming doomsday are getting far more attention. The official December 21, 2012 website even claims to have celebrity supporters such as Woody Harrelson, Mel Gibson, Ashton Kutcher and Shirley MacLaine. The December 21, 2012 website also alleges a galactic problem that will cause the world to end – something scientists at NASA refute.
