Loveland Couple Accused of Planning to Rob Pedophiles

There are some interesting stories in our news today, but this one right in our neck of the woods is about as interesting as they come. Police have arrested a Loveland couple, accusing them of conspiring to lure pedophiles to a hotel to rob and extort them. Do you high five these two, or do throw them in jail? 

You would think that they were at least doing one good deed while doing a bad one at the same time, true. But read into the story a little further and you soon find out that Dustin Canup, 20, and Sareena Morrison, 18 were more bad than good. Kind of stupid too if you ask me. I certainly wouldn't want to try to rob a criminal who is probably rather dangerous.

The couple planned to also kidnap any children brought to the hotel by the pedophiles.

"They were quite serious about this," said Loveland police Sgt. Mike Halloran. "We were able to intercept them before any citizens were harmed by them."

Canup and Morrison were booked into the Larimer County Jail on possible charges that include conspiracy to commit kidnapping, extortion and robbery.
