While Colorado has been home to numerous events that combine the consumption of marijuana with stand-up comedy, one upcoming comedy show takes the concept to a whole new level.
Colorado Comedy Show with Stoned Comedians Coming Soon
The comedy show will take place on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Skylark Lounge in Denver, with things kicking off at 7 p.m.

What makes this comedy show different than any other event similar in nature is that the comedians will be given the task of consuming copious amounts of THC prior to cracking the microphone.
Each comedian's set will be split into two segments - the first of which will feature the comic telling jokes with a clear, sober head, but after the first half of the set the performer will be given the task of consuming a considerable amount of weed.
The event is being put on by a group called The Gateway Show and is described by the group as such:
Stop us if you've heard this one before - Stand-up comedians take to the stage and tell their BEST jokes, then they go to an undisclosed location to get silly, only to come back and ATTEMPT to tell more jokes completely ruined.
