What Will Ted’s in Windsor Look Like When it Becomes a New Sweet Heart Winery Spot?

A great location in Windsor, which held a place named "Ted's" (in various versions), will become a new outpost for Loveland's very successful Sweet Heart Winery. After more than a decade of seeing that "Ted's" logo, it'll be very different once Sweet Heart comes in.

 When Will Sweet Heart Winery Be Coming to Windsor, Colorado?

According to the Reporter-Herald and BizWest, by the middle of October of 2026, instead of 2191 Covered Bridge Parkway in Windsor being Ted's, it will be another offshoot location for Sweet Heart Winery.  It was in October of 2025 that Sweet Heart Winery opened a Fort Collins tasting room, Tesoro.

I hate to admit it, but after all these years of having Sweet Heart Winery in Loveland since 2017, I have yet to visit. Though I had visited Clim Hard Cidery (which they now own) back when it was part of the former Big Beaver Brewing. Maybe, with this Windsor location (where our stations are located), I'll stop by for a glass while overlooking the water.

According to the Reporter-Herald and BizWest, Windsor developer Matin Lind is behind bringing Sweet Heart Winery to town. It'll be known as "Sweet Heart Wine & Cider at RainDance," as Sweet Heart is very much interested in continuing to grow its hard cider operations. To emphasize that, they're putting in an apple orchard on the property.

What Will Sweet Heart Wine & Cider at RainDance Have/Look Like?

It's definitely going to be weird walking into the new space after it's been Ted's for so long. The space will have a full commercial kitchen, a bar, and event spaces. They picture Sweet Heart Wine & Cider at RainDance as a place for the wines/ciders, great food, weekend brunches, and live music. They'll also hold events (corporate and community), weddings, and more at the space.
