2026 Brings New Pizza Festival to Colorado – Here’s What We Know

When you think of all the people in Colorado that love great pizza, holding a festival with over 20 pizza joints coming together, sounds like a fantastic idea. People will be coming from Denver and Northern Colorado to take part in this food, beer and fun event.

Maybe it's jus that there are so many occasions to have pizza that it's one of the most-popular food items around. You can have it for birthdays, football watching parties, moving, an office meeting, a softball celebration; the list goes on and on.

Colorado is known for having its fair share of beer festivals every year; having a festival centered around pizza is a great change of pace for the state. This isn't some small-time event either, as they're planning on having over 20 pizzerias from Longmont and all over Colorado on the scene. In addition, there'll be local beers, live music, and more.

Amateurs Can Participate in This Colorado Pizza Festival

Not only will attendees have the chance a maybe trying some great pizzas made by professionals, but amateurs will also be serving up their best, in the hopes of one day having their own pizza joint. "Start Small, Aim Big," as they say. You could go, and then find out, years later, that they've "made it."

Olympics and Kids Activities at Colorado Pizza Festival

The Colorado Pizza Festival, held in Longmont on September 5, 2026, will also include the pizzerias competing in the "Pizza Olympics'" who knows what exactly those will entail. Kids will have their own area of activities, too (kids 12 and under will get in free.)

Tickets for the inaugural Colorado Pizza Festival go on sale May 1, 2026. Proceeds will go to organizations working to end food insecurity in Colorado.
