You Can Furnish Your Whole Home With Free Things We Found on Fort Collins Craigslist
Craigslist has just about anything you want and/or need from cars, and jobs, to homes, and sex. Most will cost you in one way or another whether it be monetarily, barter, or maybe your good name. But, buried deep under the "For Sale" section you can find my favorite category... "Free!" After digging through it and finding a lot of junk like dirt, firewood, and used motor oil I realized there was a lot of decent stuff as well. Enough stuff in fact, that if you were really short on change, you could completely furnish your house for free! Here is how...
Couch
Because you have to have somewhere to sit... This oldie but goodie could use a cover, but for free, you cant beat this "lovely-seat!"
TV & Entertainment Center
I would pay money for the entertainment center, then you add in a TV that works, and you just might have the steal of all time right here!
Dining Table
Sure, it is sitting outside, but that is why they invented Old English! Clean this baby up, and you have yourself a nice place to eat your Ramen Noodles!
Microwave and Toaster Oven
These days you can make gourmet meals in a microwave, you add in a toaster 0ven and you my friend, could probably beat McDonald's in the next national taste test! Included in this wonderful package is also some books for a little after dinner entertainment, maybe?
Bed Frame
Most people that are barely getting by have to sleep either on a couch or a mattress that is directly on the floor. Welcome to the good life, buddy! Your very own bed frame... You guessed it, FREE!
Mattress
Some really weird things happen on beds, and some really weird things often liven in beds. That makes it awfully scary to sleep on a used mattress, but this wonderful piece looks better than the last hotel mattress I slept on!
Dresser
Not a bad little dresser, and hey, it may even match the bed you just picked up! Now your socks and underwear don't have to sleep on the floor either!
Desk with Hutch
Talk about living the good life, this may be the nicest piece we have picked up yet! Now the only problems, where are you going to fit it in the small apartment, and what are you going to put on it? Wait... We have saved so much money here today, we are buying a Mac to put on there!
Vacuum
Everyone needs a clean floor, and even with a broken bag holder, the sucker on this well, sucker, still sucks!
Treadmill
Maybe if we use this free treadmill to get into shape we will be able to find a sugar mama/daddy to help us out a little next time we go "shopping!"
Silverware (kind of)
PERFECT!! No dishes is a good thing, because that is something we didn't find for free... A dishwasher.
Hot Tub
Not that you are going to want to invite a whole lot of people over to the pad, if you do you can wow them with your brand-new-to-you hot tub!
