I had someone ask me this morning if today was " really that important?" My answer was a firm YES! Do I know what this will do for the war on terror? No. Do I know what this means for more simple things like gas prices? No. What I do know is that on a sunny September day in 2001 we, the American people, lost 2974 of our own to a senseless act of terror carried out by a man named Osama bin Laden. After almost ten years of looking for the mass murderer, we have succeeded! It's a day of celebration for the people of the United States, but also a day to look back and never forget those we lost almost ten years ago.
