Who’s Tired of Tebow?

Oh no, another Tebow post! It's true, this website, other websites, Facebook, Twitter, Radio, TV, it's all filled to the brim with Tebow this and Tebow that. Being the sports fan that I am, and the Broncos in particular, I love it, but I also see that there is another side. Fans of other teams, non sports fans, and others are just tired of Tebow.

Not once in my lifetime can I remember someone take the world by storm like Tim Tebow has, sports or non sports related. Along with this new found fame has come an over abundance of hype and coverage. Causing many to get fed up with Tebow. When I see anything Tebow related the feedback seems about 75% positive, and the other 25% is people tired of hearing about it, or people who just plain dislike it.

Now, I understand why this is, but you also have to remember that it's not his fault. Tebows love of his religion is his choice and not something he should be hated for. The songs, the dances, the quotes, and all the other hoopla is not Tebow, its his fans. He goes out plays, acts like a gentlemen, thanks his lord, and pretty much keeps his mouth shut. Maybe that's why so many have flocked to him, he is a real good guy who should be a role model. Just think, we could be hyping other athletes this way, the cussers, the druggers, the rapists, or the thugs. To me, if we are going to blanket a guy like we are, Tebow is the right guy.

So if you are tired of Tebow, ignore it. If you don't like the way he plays football, don't watch it. And if you are being negative to be negative, find something that makes you happy, and let those of us who like Tebow like Tebow!
