Where It Is Legal To Sell Marijuana In Colorado

Colorado has recently become one of the first few states to make marijuana legal to own, sell, buy, and use. Check out this interactive map of what counties have put a ban on retail sale.

You can view the map here. Marijuana is legal in the state of Colorado, but the bans concern the growth and retail availability of the plant. For example in Weld County:

Weld County Commissioners on Monday unanimously banned the growth, manufacturing and sale of marijuana in unincorporated areas of the county, a spokeswoman said.

This only means that it will be unavailable to manufacture and sell. It is still legal to grow for personal use. Counties like Larime however, have given the "OK" for growth and retail sale.
