Tilted Kilt Restaurant Coming to Greeley in March
Growing up in good old Greeley, Colorado I always thought someone could make a pretty penny if they brought a Hooters or a similar restaurant to the college town. And don't get me wrong, I love Hooters for their wings too, but I was jumping for joy when I found out that we were getting a Tilted Kilt!
If you aren't familiar with Tilted Kilt restaurants, shame on you! Basically it's a Celtic themed sports bar and restaurant that employs scantily-clad female servers in kilts. It has been described as "Hooters with a Scottish twist"
The Greeley version was actually supposed to open in November of last year, but the building took a bit longer than planned, and it looks as though we will finally get it in March.
The Greeley location will be in the former Oasis Hotel at 610 9th Ave. Along with the traditional Tilted Kilt interior, this one will also feature a patio area, about 1,700 square feet of which will be covered and contain heaters for the winter. The outside of the restaurant will also feature a putting green and a bocce ball court.
I cannot wait for March!! But, if working sounds more fun than playing to you, the restaurant is currently hiring for all positions, including wait staff, bartenders, cooks and bussers. To inquire about an interview, call (970) 353-5458.
