After 36 years America's 'Sister Golden Hair' can still be heard playing loud and proud in every city everyday all around, well, America. The band's most popular song peaked at #1 on the billboard charts back in 1975 on this day, but surprisingly only stayed there for one week. This was the second hit of of America's 1975 album called Hearts following "Daisy Jane" and "Woman Tonight" later reached the charts as well, but "Sister Golden Hair was the only #1.
