These Fort Collins Businesses Are Offering CSU Game Day Parking
With the first game coming up at Colorado State's new on-campus stadium, everyone's been left asking, 'Where should I park?' Don't worry -- we've got some leads.
Just a reminder, parking in the surrounding neighborhoods is not going to be an option as those require permits. So, if you are parking off campus during the game, it is highly encouraged to use MAX transit, ride bikes, etc.
However, there are a few businesses and churches around town that will be offering parking on game day.
The parking lot in front of the building that used to be Safeway at College and Mulberry is FREE and open to the public on game days. This lot also has covered underground parking, and is about a 30-minute walk or 10-minute bike ride to the stadium.
Just down the street, First Presbyterian Church at 531 S. College Ave. is also welcoming game-day parking.
According to Gary Ozzello, Executive Director for Community Outreach and Engagement at Colorado State, the following places will have parking available, however, there may be a fee:
Plymouth Congregational Church -- 916 W. Prospect Rd.
Approximately a 10-minute walk.
Westminster Presbyterian Church -- 1709 W. Elizabeth St.
Approximately a 30-minute walk; 10-minute bike ride.
Gilded Goat Brewing Co. -- 3500 S. College Ave. #194
The brewery, located in The Square (near the Foothills Mall), is inviting game attendees to park in their lot and use the MAX line to get to campus.
