Selfie-Taking Rat is the Latest Social Media Sensation

Move over, Pizza Rat. There's a new rat in town!

A man passed out in a New York City subway was startled this week when he woke up to a rat taking a selfie on his lap.

His rat awakening came when the flash on his cell phone went off - that's when he saw the rat sitting on his lap. The man jumped to his feet, and the rat somehow managed to snap a selfie in the process.

Tourist Don Richards, who was visiting a friend in New York, captured the incident on camera - can see his footage (and the rat selfie) in the video below.
