Rapper-Involved Shooting at Red Rocks

I have said it before, and I will say it again... I love all types of music, including rap, but I don't understand what it is with rappers shooting one another. There are a ton of notable incidents that include rappers shooting each other, and the latest comes from our beloved Red Rocks on Thursday night (June 19th). 

It was a typical Thursday night at Red Rocks in the summertime... A concert on the stage, and a ton people enjoying the music and the scenery at the world's best concert venue. The concert happened to be a rap show featuring Nas, Schoolboy Q and Lotus.

The shooting occurred in the parking lot, not in the actual amphitheater itself, and three people were wounded. Although none of those wounded were performers, according to Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, Schoolboy Q was in the white SUV that was shot at.

Someone was hiding in the bushes and fired at the SUV, which appeared to be a licensed limousine. Red Rocks was on lock-down while police searched for the shooter. Concertgoers and vehicles were being searched. No one was arrested, and police are encouraging those with info to contact authorities at 303-271-5612.

Somedays I am more thankful to be a rocker... Rock stars don't shoot rock stars!!
