I know what you are thinking, why the hell is this guy writing a thing about Prince on a rock station website. First of all, I have to admit I like Prince a lot. Second, it's a pretty unique thing. A legend in a unique setting, and ticket prices as high as I have ever seen in Colorado ever.

I know you can buy like front row seats at an arena show for this much or more, and you can scalp tickets for even more, but never have I seen a general admission ticket go for even close to $250.

His royal highness, who hasn't been here since 2004 (and that was a sell out at the Pepsi Center)  is playing at the Ogden Theatre on Sunday, May 12, and Monday, May 13. He'll be playing two shows each night, one at 8 p.m. and one at 11 p.m.

I have been to the Ogden plenty of times, and when it gets full, there are hundreds of people who can't see sh**, get booze involved and there starts to be pushing, and if I get pushed out of my spot after spending $250 a ticket, I am knocking someone out! T-R-O-U-B-L-E if you ask me!!

Still though, if I find a sugar mama you can bet I am going to see a legend in a rare opportunity at a super intimate venue... Just don't try to steal my spot!!

Now enjoy some "Purple Rain"
