Pot-Flavored Edibles Have No Actual Marijuana in Them… WTF?
I am sure that if you took the time to read this article that you have probably smelled, and most likely tasted, marijuana at some point in your life. Maybe I am wrong, but to me, it smells and tastes like skunk, and I'm not fond of that flavor. So why are we making edibles that taste like weed, but have none in them, again?
It's sort of like non-alcoholic beer I suppose, but beer actually tastes decent...
Legal Hemp is selling edibles that are infused with the flavors of cannabis but none of the psychoactive component THC. It says on their site:
Edible products offered for sale by the Cannabis Candy Company & Hemp Candy Company contain Zero Percent (0%) Tetrahydrocannabinol (T.H.C.). Products that have Cannabis flavor oil or extract ingredients are in compliance with legal requirements relating to the legal sale of the products in the United States.
Most places that make "real" edibles are doing exactly the opposite... Trying to mask the flavor of the weed, but still giving you the high.
So, am I missing something here?
