Pabst Blue Ribbon… Russian?

Don't panic. Pabst Blue Ribbon, America's greatest awful beer will REMAIN in America.

Last week, PBR fans across the country flipped-out when Oasis Beverages, a company that operates breweries in Russia and the Ukraine, announced it's acquisition of 170-year-old Pabst Brewing Company, including many of our trashy favorites like Colt 45 malt liquor, Old Milwaukee, Schlitz, and of course, our beloved Pabst Blue Ribbon.

It seems, however, that Oasis chairman Eugene Kashper, an American citizen living in New York City, will become CEO of Pabst. He says headquarters will remain in Los Angeles and Pabst will continue to be brewed in the United States by MillerCoors. More importantly, Oasis has said that it will not change any of the Pabst brands... or recipes.
