NYC’s Iconic CBGB Reopening as a Restaurant
New York's iconic East Village music club CBGB is reopening as an airport restaurant.
According to Gothamist, the CBGB restaurant will sell fairly expensive "American fare in a fun environment recalling the legendary music venue" at Newark Airport.
CBGB officially closed in 2006 with a farewell concert with Patti Smith. Rumor has it (also according to Gothamist), the restaurant may open next year.
