Neil Diamond Gets Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame [VIDEO]

Well, it FINALLY happened- Legendary singer-songwriter Neil Diamond received a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday!

On Friday (Aug 10) Neil Diamond received another acknowledgement of all that he has done for the world of music.  Neil, who just turned 71 this past January, seemed genuinely flattered at the unveiling event in Hollywood.

Millions of records sold, hundreds of awards... A star indeed.

With his fiance Katie McNeil by his side Friday, Neil looked great as fellow troubadour Randy Newman was the one who officially welcomed Neil to the club!

What's even cooler, is that Neil is doing five shows in L.A. at The Greek Theater to commemorate the 40th anniversary of his Live- Hot August Nights album!
