My 2016 Prediction For X Ambassadors

We just put X Ambassadors' new single "Unsteady" into rotation on 94.3 The X, and at first I was pretty upset by that - but now, I think I can see where X Ambassadors are going and it only validates the gut feeling I have about their song, "Gorgeous."

Here's my 2016 prediction for X Ambassadors: while it might not be their next single (after "Unsteady"), "Gorgeous" is going to launch their career to a whole new level as THE super pop alternative smash hit of the year. Not only will it be on alternative and AAA radio stations, but CHR (top 40), hot AC, and the like. They chose "Unsteady" to transition from "Renegades" to songs that sound like "Gorgeous" ("Renegades" and "Gorgeous" are both great songs but sound completely different).

No pressure, or anything.

In a nutshell, here's why I think "Gorgeous" is going to be a huge hit:

It's super-duper catchy and is basically the same song as Nick Jonas' "Jealous," which was a huge hit. (Listen & compare below.)
They reference "Renegades" in the bridge, kind of like how Meghan Trainor references "All About That Bass" in her other hit, "Lips Are Movin'."
