Meet the New Guy – Intern Marcus

I'm the new guy. If you are in the military: the FNG. If you are in the business world: an intern. If you don't know my name: Hey You. I have never worked for a radio station before, but things are shaping up to be a good ol' time here at 94.3 Loudwire.

I was born in Boulder, Colorado, so I know a thing or two about what life is like here in beautiful Northern Colorado. However, I decided that Boulder wasn't the right place to spend the money my parents were sending me, so I moved to Fort Collins.

A delicious place full of small breweries, lots of delicious local food, and an excellent music scene. The below-average CSU football team is also worth mentioning. College helped me find my way; after all the late-nights, weekend drinking sessions and association with folks who my parents wouldn't be happy about.

I decided that I wanted to write, and what better way to do that than for almost-but-not-quite slave labor through various internships at magazines and newspapers. This desire to write has led me to do some things I am not proud of. Interning at 94.3 Loudwire is not one of those things.

I am very excited to be working (I keep writing working, but it's just an internship.) here at Loudwire. Keeping you up to date about rock music in Northern Colorado and the world in general, writing about goofy things that we find (homemade dildo anyone?) and potentially having free beer and hot-wings in the morning.
