Man Loses $2600 on Carnival Game – Claims Fraud
Can you say "Gambling Problem"?? A man in New Hampshire spend his life savings on a carnival game in an attempt to win his kid's an Xbox. All he walked away with, was a Rasta Banana...
I don't know what's more sad... The fact that this man thought he would win an Xbox at a carnival, or that his entire life savings was 2,600 dollars. In fairness, he was just trying to be a good dad. The story states however that he lost the $300 he had on him, and instead of giving up drove home to grab the rest of his money. That's insane. If I'm not mistaken, you can get a fully loaded Xbox set for less than $300 right now!
It's hard for me to feel sorry for people like this, it really is. It's also difficult to claim he is in fact a good dad when now his kids could very well go hungry! Here's a conversation I want to witness a few years down the road: "Hey dad, why aren't I going to college?"
What do you think? Am I being too harsh, or should idiots like this wear a helmet when they go outside?
