As of 5 a.m. this morning, the King Soopers strike is officially underway.

What does this mean for you? Well for starters, the stores will remain open during the strike, but it could mean even longer check out lines, less things on the shelves, and just not the solid shopping experience you normally get when you go to King Soopers.

I usually frequent the location on Main Street in Windsor and for me, the one thing I always notice is the amount of people that are always there. No matter the time of day I go, it always seems packed with a long wait at the checkout line.

I'm usually okay with it because the quality there is usually really good. But there are times when I simply don't want to deal with it, so I'll just go across the street to Safeway. It's usually a little less packed over there.

But now, with this strike going on - and there are no guarantees that things will change drastically - but one can only assume that with workers going on strike, things could get a little crazy for a while at King Soopers.

That being said, I wanted to look up and share the options we have here in NoCo for grocery shopping and, thankfully, there are plenty.

Here's a rundown of some other options that you have for grocery shopping if you don't want to attempt to deal with King Soopers during the strike:
