Colorado Fans of Comics + Toys Won’t Want to Miss Upcoming Event

Growing up, many kids will gain an interest, if not an obsession, with certain types of action figures, video games, and maybe even comic books that, despite growing up, never really leave one's interest.

For me, it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures, Spider-Man action figures and comics, Super Nintendo games, and Playstation games. Roughly two to three decades later, I still love all of these franchises.

Luckily, numerous stores and conventions exist where adults can revisit the things they loved as kids, including one convention that will be making its way to Colorado this spring.

Retromania is Coming to Colorado in 2025

The convention is known as Retromania and will be taking place at the Arapahoe County Events Center in Aurora from Saturday, May 17, through Sunday, May 18.

It will be here that attendees will find a variety of comic books, video games, apparel, VHS tapes, artwork, and, of course, action figures.

As you can imagine, a number of franchises typically associated with comic book conventions will be represented, including Star Wars, Spider-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and even some newer toys like Funko Pop and Pokemon.

In addition, some celebrity guests will be in attendance, including former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick and professional wrestler Sargent Slaughter.

General admission ticketholders will be granted access to Retromania from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days of the event.
