On Monday, July 14, 2025, the Colorado Renaissance Festival announced that due to an unprecedented number of attendees and the headaches experienced by those stuck in traffic the prior weekend, tickets for the final three weeks will be limited.

Special Themes Still to Come at the Colorado Renaissance Festival

If you plan on purchasing tickets to attend any of the final three weekends in which the Colorado Renaissance Festival will be held in 2025, you might want to plan accordingly based on the theme of any particular weekend.

For example, the weekend of July 19 and 20 will have a "Wine and Revelry" theme, the following weekend of July 26 and 27 will have a "Renaissance Romance and Masquerade" theme, and the weekend of August 2 and 3 will have a "Time Travelers Weekend and Final Huzzah" theme.

Anticipate Traffic Around the Colorado Renaissance Festival

Anyone who has traveled along I-25 between Castle Rock and Monument, the stretch of the interstate that is accompanied by Renaissance Festival attendees, will likely tell you that it isn't fun.
