Cherry Creek, Colorado, made Niche.com’s list of the Best Places to Live in America, landing at #310 overall. Known as one of Colorado’s most popular neighborhoods on the Front Range, several of Colorado’s most successful athletes have lived in this area at one time.

Cherry Creek’s population is around 11,011 people, with median home values close to $850,000. The community scores excellent marks from Niche.com for jobs, schools, and nightlife.

I was stunned to scroll past the first 400 communities on the Niche.com list, only to see two Colorado communities on the list so far. At #453 is the community of Inverness, Colorado. This is the last community from the Centennial State to make the top 500.

Inverness, also located in Arapahoe County, is home to just over 3,000 residents. Median home values in Inverness are around $800,000, with far more renters than homeowners here. Niche.com awarded very high scores to Inverness for having some of Colorado’s best public schools, and it is voted one of the best suburbs for young professionals.
