Coffee shops in Colorado number in the hundreds; from big "corporate" ones, to little "Mom and Pop" ones. The future of "getting coffee" might be in Downtown Denver.

Where is the Robotic Coffee Kiosk in Downtown Denver?

Many in Colorado are familiar with the 16th Street [Mall,] with its shopping, dining a drinking options. One of the beverage options you'll find at the corner of 16th and Wazee is a kiosk that serves hot and iced coffee drinks without a human.

What I think is great about this "robot" coffee kiosk, is one: Not having to deal with someone behind the counter, and two: the prices, which run about a mere $4.00. A great way to get a coffee (mocha, latte, espresso, etc.) and then walk around and "people watch," in Downtown.

What is JAVAI in Denver, Colorado?

JAVAI (java with AI) began in 2022, opening their first (and currently only) JAVAI kiosk in 2023 at Wazee and 16th. They did also open one at Colorado Mills, but that location closed down; maybe it was "too fancy" for that mall?

How Does JAVAI Work?

You place your order (50 customizable drinks to choose from,) add your toppings, syrups to the order, pay with card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc., then the robot inside the kiosk makes your drink (including putting the lid on tight) in about 60 seconds. Quick and easy.

They use local organic beans and milk, and use technology not only to create the drinks, but to keep it all hygienic as well. My next stop to 16th Street will include a stop at this kiosk.
