Places In Northern Colorado That Scare Me

Maybe it's because I grew up watching Unsolved Mysteries, but I am not an adventurer, and there are just some places in Northern Colorado that I always steer clear of.

Abandoned houses, scary back roads, and spooky railroad crossings all make the creepy list.

Fort Collins

Fort Collins is a lovely place to live. Full of art, music, and culture, there's always something cool to see and do. But what about the spooky places that no one talks about?

For example, there are some pretty creepy locations in the Mulberry and I-25 area. I'm talking about old hotels, which I have heard are haunted. Okay, don't panic, but I've heard certain hotels near a certain Waffel House are infested with spirits.

Just look up Holiday Inn Holidome in Fort Collins on Google.

Greeley

There's really no rhyme or reason why I'm afraid of this staple in Greeley, but have you ever been to the Weld County Courthouse? It's an old building, and many sightings have been made there, including ghostly figures, unexplained footsteps, and objects moving on their own.

Granted, these sightings have been mostly in the older academic buildings. But the thought of having to go to this creepy place keeps me on the right side of the law.

Loveland

The Great Western Way Depot has been around for a million years. Well, maybe not that long, but it's been many decades, and the spooky stuff started shortly after.

Word on the street is you can hear a haunted train whistle blowing some nights even though trains aren't running. Freaky right?

So beware and just stay home.
