An indoor surfing complex is set to open in Colorado soon.

Surf Shack Indoor Surfing Facility Coming to Colorado Springs

The Gazette recently followed up on the project that began back in 2024. Surf Shack is a $3.8 million center that will offer indoor surfing in Colorado Springs. What does indoor surfing look like? Well, there is a consistent wave pool that is supposed to simulate exactly what you might encounter for normal surfing.

Construction Underway at Polaris Pointe Location

Again, that is not footage of what is coming to Colorado Springs. Construction is still underway, but I am really excited to check this out. The recreation center will be two stories and 12,000 square feet.

Why Surf Shack Brings Excitement to Colorado Residents

Personally, I am really excited to check out Surf Shack in Colorado Springs. I have never been surfing before, and I never really had a desire to. When I was on vacation, I knew I would not be any good at surfing, so I skipped it. With Surf Shack opening up, maybe you, I, and other Colorado residents can practice before we go on a sunny vacation.
