CBS took a look at data from AAA, and they determined that Thanksgiving is going to have record-breaking travel numbers this year. The numbers say that 81.8 million people nationwide are going to be traveling for Thanksgiving this year. 6.1 million of those travelers will fly.

The travel data is estimated for the dates of November 25 through December 1.
Tips for Navigating DIA During Peak Travel Season
If you are alarmed by this, my best advice would be to ensure that you arrive early. There will be fewer delays and cancellations than there have been in the past few weeks. You might hear a few people complain about Denver International Airport during this time as well. KDVR actually found a study that says that Denver International Airport is the seventh best airport in the United States for Thanksgiving travel based on the lack of delays and cancellations.
