According to GoBankingRates, three Colorado cities made the list for locations where someone would need to make at least $100,000 per year to be considered lower-middle class.

Highlands Ranch Tops the Colorado List

One Colorado city has ranked fifth on the list with a threshold of $103,898 to $173,163 to be considered in the bracket of lower-middle class. That city is Highlands Ranch, with a median household income of $155,847.

The next location in Colorado is Centennial, ranking at number 20, with a threshold of $85,445 to $142,408 in the lower-middle class bracket. The last Colorado city on the list is the town I grew up in as a kid, and it seems that quite a bit has changed for this community over the years.

Arvada Completes the Colorado Trio

Arvada, Colorado, ranked 37th on the list with a threshold of $75,597 to $125,996 to be considered lower-middle class. Not surprisingly, the state with the most cities on the list where someone would need a six-figure income to be considered lower-middle class is California, with a total of 26 cities on the list.
