The tragic events that occurred yesterday on December 14th, 2012 will never be forgotten.   There are some twisted people in this world and it's terrible to think that people are capable of committing such acts. Not just physically capable, but mentally as well. That's what I want to talk about for a moment. It comes as no surprise that Facebook and Twitter blew up yesterday upon release of this news. Two things stuck out in my social media timelines. The first was posts about how we need to crack down on "gun control." The second was replies to those posts of people saying "have some damn respect!" I couldn't agree more... Have some respect for these families.

Even today may be considered too soon, but I too have opinions on issues like Gun Control. It is my belief, that having more hoops to jump through, or banning guns all together won't solve the problem. It may not even slow it down. Cocaine is illegal, but people seem to obtain that some how... Killing people is illegal, but it happens.

I'm all for adding a few hoops to the process though, don't get me wrong. As it stands, buying a gun is kind of simple. Outlawing them all together will never happen, and if it did, it wouldn't solve anything. So quit wasting your breath... Instead of fighting with people on the internet, you should go home and hug your kids. Raise them right! Did you know that one little boy grabbed a load of his classmates, and got them to safety in the middle of the chaos?! Those are the things we should be focused on.

My heart goes out to these families. Now stop reading about this stuff online and go spend some time with your family.
