In Mississippi, safe-sex education is prohibited, but there are no laws against showing teens how to safely put on socks!

Mississippi has laws against sex education for students. Teachers are prohibited, by law, to educate their students about preventing unwanted pregnancies (and STDs) through the proper use of condoms.

Ridiculous.

The state of Mississippi, unsurprisingly, has one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates in the country. One third of all babies born in Mississippi are born to teen mothers. One third!

Ridiculous.

But one brilliant teacher, Sanford Johnson, has thought of a clever way to show his students how to protect themselves.

This guy is a hero, man. Teacher of the year.
