Happy Birthday Huey Lewis! [VIDEO]

Most people that get a perfect score on the math portion of the SAT test in high school and then get accepted into Cornell go on to become engineers and doctors, not Huey Lewis. He decided instead of attending Cornell, he would hitch hike his way across Europe and play music, also learning to play the harmonica. After he returned from Europe he did go to Cornell, but lost interest and dropped out.

After some manual labor jobs Lewis joined a San Fransisco based band called Clover. Clover got a record deal, but never made it big, so Lewis left the band. Lewis then played harmonica on a Thin Lizzy album, and formed his own band, Huey Lewis and The News. The rest is history.

Here is a video of the bands biggest hit. The only #1 song Huey Lewis and the News had, "The Power of Love", which was featured in Back to the Future.
