Once a week my hometown newspaper, the Greeley Tribune, puts together what they call their Crime Log. Basically they find the weirdest sh** that the cops encountered, and believe me there is a lot, in the town over the previous week. This week we learned, yet again, that it's a horrible idea to send naked pictures of yourself to anyone!

I know that we have went over this time and time again, but people still don't seem to get the message... I don't care who it is, it is an awful idea to send naked pictures of yourself! Boyfriends and girlfriends break up, marriages end in divorce, friends can become enemies, and strangers are just plain weird at times. You can trust no one, and a Greeley man has found that out the hard way:

April 24th, 4 a.m.: A caller said he went to a pornographic website and a Skype session was established. The caller said a male is now blackmailing him, saying if the caller doesn’t send money he will post a lewd video of the caller to Facebook and send it to the caller’s email contacts. The caller said he wanted police to delete the video, but an officer said he didn’t have a way to do that. The caller requested a report not be filed.

I realize that it can sound fun at the time, but if anyone REALLY wants to see you naked, and you REALLY want to show them, how about inviting them over for a peek in private, with no cameras allowed... That is unless you like the whole world seeing you in the nude!
