Government Shutdown Means KKK Can’t Hold Rally
The government shutdown is causing trouble for even more people than you may think.
A Ku Klux Klan rally slated for this coming Saturday at Pennsylvania’s Gettysburg National Military Park has been scrapped because of the shutdown.
The KKK had obtained a permit for the event. The park justified the permit by saying Americans are entitled to freedom of speech.
Last month, the KKK held another rally at Antietam National Battlefield, the site of a key Civil War battle.
