U.S. automaker Elio Motors is making news after its announcement of an ultra high-mileage vehicle, which projected to get about 84 miles per gallon.

The company's car, which is not technically a car because it only has three wheels, has only one door and two seats. There are two wheels in the front and one in the back.

Not only does it get great gas mileage, but they are also engineering the Elio for a five-star crash test safety rating.

Oh, and the price? Not even $7,000.

So, it's safe, it gets insanely great gas mileage and it's cheap.

The only downside is it looks a little weird.
