Truck Driver Causes Accident While Pulling a Tooth [Video]

It's way too easy to drive distracted these days. Things like food, cell phones and passengers are all temptations to take your attention off the road.

For an Alabama truck driver, a loose tooth was to blame for his distracted-driving disaster, Alabama Live/AL.com reported.

The 18-wheeler drove off Interstate 20-59 and into a ditch last week near Tuscaloosa, Ala., causing the shutting down of the highways northbound lane for at least 10 hours. The wreckage and debris were still being cleaned up days later.

According to a report from the Alabama Highway Patrol, the driver was attempting to pull out his tooth and lost control of the vehicle in the process.

Take this as a lesson for good dental hygiene.
