Stories like this never get old for us.

And you'd think that with the frequency of these stories, it would start to deter people from such crimes, but no!

A few would-be thieves attempted to rob a Houston convenience store employee when he got back from a run to the bank. They stalked him and jumped him when he got out of his car, money bag in hand.

The guy manning the counter inside the store saw it all go down and sprung into action, KPRC 2 reported.

Luckily for the guy being jumped (and very unluckily for the thieves), the clerk behind the counter is also an MMA national champion from Sri Lanka. So, he did what MMA champions do: He kicked some ass!
