Fort Collins, Loveland Crews Respond to Apartment Fire

Poudre Fire Authority and Loveland Fire Rescue responded to an apartment fire near Harmony Road on Tuesday, February 2. Poudre Fire first tweeted about the incident at 5080 Fossil Blvd. in Fort Collins just after 9 a.m.

The Redtail Ponds apartment building is a Permanent Supportive Housing community in south Fort Collins, 'designed to meet the special housing needs of formerly homeless individuals with disabilities and formerly homeless veterans.'

The fire was in a unit on the fourth floor, which was the only apartment damaged, and there were no injuries reported. Authorities are investigating the cause.
