Eddie Vedder’s “Imagine” To Benefit War-Weary Youth [VIDEO]

Eddie Vedder announced Tuesday that proceeds from his cover of John Lennon's Imagine will benefit Heartbeat, an Israeli-Palestinian youth program.

You've probably heard me talk about Eddie Vedder (singer and frontman for Pearl Jam) and his new cover of the 1971 hit song "Imagine", recorded in Portugal in July. Well, I've now learned that not only is it beautiful and brilliant, it also benefits Heartbeat.

Heartbeat is an organization that works to unite Israeli and Palestinian youth with music. Peace... through music.
