Cloverleaf Dog Track Comes Down [VIDEO]

It was built in 1957.

Thousands of people attended races there, thousands of people learned how to drive in its huge parking lot.

The Cloverleaf Kennel Club was officially torn down this past week and The Reporter-Herald captured a great video via time-lapse photography.

Almost four years to the day (April 5, 2008) since it closed, the Cloverleaf Kennel Club’s grandstand was finally torn down over the last few days.

It’s official: No more bets. No more Whizmo. No more learning to drive so you could get your permit.

After 60 years, it tumbles to the ground.
