CAROLFEST! Twenty Years of Caroling in Downtown Fort Collins
Nothing says Christmas like a bunch of folks getting together and singing classic Christmas songs. Tradition used to call for these groups to gather and go to their friends and neighbors doors to sing, but times have changed and that just doesn't happen often anymore. Caroling however, still happens. For twenty years now Carolfest has brought together people of all ages and singing abilities in song and celebration in Downtown Fort Collins.
All ages, all abilities, well everyone is invited to join the Choice City Singers as they lead the public in timeless Christmas carols. This free event begins at 6:30pm at the Opera Galleria on Friday, December 2nd. The procession of carolers will begin at the Opera Galleria, as they meet to warm up their festive voices. The caroling group will bring warmest holiday wishes to the residents of the Northern Hotel by singing in their lobby, and then move to Santa’s Workshop, singing all along the way. After visiting Santa’s Workshop and Old Town Square, the party will make its way to the final destination of Oak Street Plaza.
