Capacity Limits Lifted: Larimer County Updated COVID-19 Restrictions

As the State of Colorado has retired its COVID-19 dial, local guidance is left up to the counties. Some, like Weld County, have lifted all COVID-19 restrictions as of April 16, 2021. Larimer County, however, still has COVID-19 restrictions in place, but many capacity limits have been lifted.

According to Larimer County, new guidelines are as follows:

As of Friday, April 16, Larimer County is considered 'high risk' on its own COVID-19 dial. Face coverings are still required in indoor public places. Over 200,000 vaccines have been given.

Personal Gatherings:

• No cap on personal gatherings, but should align with CDC guidelines.

Indoor Seated Events:

• No capacity restrictions if under 500 people
• Must be six foot distance between parties of no more than ten people.

Indoor Unseated Events:

• Up to 175 people, or 50 percent capacity.

Outdoor Events and Entertainment: 

• No capacity limits if under 500 people
• Adequate distancing

Restaurants & Bars:

• No capacity limit
• Must be six foot distance between parties of no more than ten people
• Outdoor seating may be closer than six feet

Gyms and Fitness: 

• No capacity limits
• Six feet of distance between individuals
• Face coverings required indoors when closer than six feet

Retail:

• 75 percent capacity

Sports:

• Indoor: 50 participants per court/rink
• Outdoor: No limit
