Multiple infractions by Bondi Bar employees have led to their liquor license being suspended. According to 9News, Bondi Bar staff held down a man that was trying to break up a fight and punched him multiple times in the face. They then carried him out of the establishment and pushed him over a railing. The man was later found by police with bruising, swelling and bleeding from beneath both of his eyes.

This kind of BS at bars needs to be better controlled. A few years ago my brother was at a popular bar in Old Town Fort Collins and was with someone who was acting like an idiot. My brother tried to get our friend to chill and leave. The next thing my brother knew he was waking up outside the bar with black eyes, his leather Broncos hat stolen, and all the money in his wallet gone. He wanted to press charges, but police did nothing. I would name the bar but I am sure those who did this are gone now. I do believe that these bars are given way to much of their own ability to police and govern. My brother should have sued them.

I know that they have to deal with drunk people all the time and that isn't easy, but they don't need to knock people out or beat them while they are held down. Can't they hold them and call in the people trained to handle this?
