Audioslave Members Play A Song With A Light Shining Down On A Mic [Video]

No word on any future plans for Soundgarden - I can't even imagine it, nor do I care to - but Audioslave has already invited System of a Down frontman Serj Tankien to lead the band in a live song. So the three remaining Audioslave members emerged during a Prophets of Rage concert in Berlin this week, playing "Like A Stone" with only a spotlight beaming down on the microphone where Chris Cornell would normally stand and perform.

Although Cornell's death is being ruled a suicide, his family members are strongly suggesting that his death was a function of prescription drugs.

When I saw them at Red Rocks in 2014, I had been so bummed that I never got to see Soundgarden live after growing up with them as a staple of my music collection. Now, I'm just thankful that I did at all.
