Andy Johns – Legendary Producer :R.I.P.

Andy Johns, the British producer & engineer who worked with everyone from Zeppelin to Van Halen passed away on April 7th, 2013, he was 61.

Andy was one of  the best in biz, he was the younger brother of engineer Glyn Johns. Andy  worked on some of the most icon records ever made, including Led Zeppelin IV, & Exile on Main St.  by The Rolling Stones.  Here is a small list of artists who Andy worked with, with a career that spanned over 40 years he worked with best of the best...

Van Halen,Cinderella, LA Guns, Godsmack, Jethro Tull, Joni Mitchell, Rod Stewart, Chickenfoot, Humble Pie, RA, Eric Clapton & of course the mighty Led Zeppelin. Andy's 2 sons, Evan ( who played drums in HURT) &  guitarist

are both accomplished musicians in their own right. Andy will be missed...
