Adrian Peterson Out For The Rest Of The Season
The NFL will suspend Adrian Peterson for the rest of the season. Without pay.
Minnesota Viking Adrian Peterson, 29, was indicted in September for injuring his 4-year-old son while disciplining him with a tree switch. Peterson pled down to misdemeanor assault and received probation.
Now, this morning, according to Sports Illustrated, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced that Peterson will be suspended, without pay, for the rest of the season. Goodell stated that the star running back's future 2015 reinstatement will depend on his counseling and rehabilitation efforts.
Peterson and the NFLFA will appeal the suspension.
